Why is yamraj worshipped on Narak Chaturdashi?
The Hindu religion believes that on Narak Chaturdashi, people worship Lord Yamraj, also known as the God of Death, in order to get his blessings of long life. It is said that if someone worships Yamraj on this auspicious day, it would not cause them to die; instead, it will grant a long, happy, and healthy life to their family members.
