How to please goddess laxmi and perform pooja during diwali?
Step 1: Cleanse and decorate the house with rangoli, lights and flowers.
Step 2: Set up the puja altar with idols of Goddess Lakshmi in centre and Lord Ganesha on her left.
Step 3: Place a kalash filled 75% with water and put one supari, a marigold flower,a coin and rice grains. Put 5 mango leaves on the kalash.
Step 4: Place your accountancy books and other wealth related items in front of the idols.
Step 5: Begin the puja rituals- invite deities to the altar, offer milk or water to the idols, apply tilak to the deities and kalash, present flowers and food offerings especially sweets and perform Lakshmi aarti and ask for her blessings.
Step 6: Share prasad with family members.
